How it works?

Where does the data come from?

Data on transactions with real estate are freely available to everyone on the open data portal in CSV and XLS formats. Hesti collects this data and converts it into an easily searchable and transparent table format.

How frequently is the data refreshed?

The data is available for transactions from 2012 and is updated once a month, on the 10th of the calendar month (or the next working day if it falls on a holiday).

How accurate is the historical data?

The published data is for official transaction amounts. They can be lower than those used in advertisements, because both parties can agree on a lower price when concluding a transaction. There may also be cases where the amount shown does not include other things that are also paid for, such as furniture. For example, a private house is sold for 90,000 EUR, which is the official transaction amount, but 10,000 EUR is paid separately for furniture. In rare cases, if the amounts are very suspiciously low, there may be other reasons why it happened and those involved in the transaction wanted to keep the official transaction amount low.
